Lokta paper known also as Nepali paper is made from the Lokta bush or Daphne bush, botanically known as Daphne bhoula or Daphne papyracea. The bush grows in the Himalayan mountainous region at 6,500 to 10,000 feet. The “Lokta Bush” has characteristics of re-growing again and again after pruning. Thus it is considered as the most eco-friendly paper.

This is a pack of natural color Nepalese lokta paper sheets. Handmade in Nepal by a local artisan. Because of the attractive texture and strength, lokta paper and the products made from lokta paper are famous worldwide. These Paper sheets are Eco-friendly because there is no use of any machine emitting harmful substances in the environment during the handmade process.

Since the paper is handmade, each sheet is unique and has a soft feeling sensation which makes it different than commercially made paper or sheet. The purposes of this type of paper sheets are unlimited.
